pnbhs.jpgPalmerston North Boys' High School from New Zealand is undertaking a Hockey Tour to the United Kingdom and Ireland in 2015. This tour is comprising of 7 matches throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland as well as a match in Singapore as part of a short stopover.
As part of our tour we are travelling from London through to Edinburgh. We would like to break up this trip by stopping in the Yorkshire region around Easter 2015.  Can your club offer us a fixture?

I am sure that our young men would gain a lot from such a visit to a beautiful part of England. As part of this short stop we would love to play a match against one of your local sides. I am writing to ask if there would be any team in your region that would consider a match against our touring side.
Unfortunately the timing of our arrival in Yorkshire is not the best. We would be leaving London early on the Saturday of Easter (4th April). Ideally we would love to have a match on Easter Sunday but I certainly understand if this is not possible. Maybe one on Saturday night could be a possibility.
Palmerston North Boys' High School is a traditional school which prides itself on "developing young men of outstanding character". With a roll of 1750 students aged between 13 and 18, we are situated in the North Island about 2 hours north of the capital city of Wellington. The school has 15 hockey teams that play in the local competition. Over the past ten years, the 1st XI has been ranked in the top 6 nationally, including three 2nd placings and a 3rd placing at national tournaments. Last week the team finished 3rd in the 2014 National Competition.  If you can help us please email Matthew Davidson (year 13 Dean).
