Tony Moffatt Memorial Dinner - 7 May 2016
We are holding a Celebration Dinner in memory of Tony Moffatt , who died in January after a short illness , and his contribution to hockey and particularly his commitment to the county championships over many years. A number of you will probably remember Tony as a York goalkeeper many years ago. If any of you would like to attend you would be most welcome.
The dinner will be held at Abbeydale Sports Club Sheffield on Saturday the 7th May 2016 at 19.30 whilst this year’s county championships involving Yorkshire are taking place. You can find the schedule at the end of this email.
Subject to his travel to Eastern Europe Norman Hughes has agreed to address the gathering.
Yorkshire have agreed to subsidise the dinner in Tony’s memory so the charge will be £15 per head.
