YHA Hockey: Cold Weather over the Weekend of 9/10 Dec 17 Very low temperatures down to freezing (lowest -4C) are expected overnight on Friday & Saturday with daytime temps probably not going above 2C. There is a high possibility of snow on Sunday (you may already have snow in your area). All home teams are recommended to check pitches and make decisions about postponements as early as possible, and give travelling opponents and any appointed umpires as much notice to save them travelling. Please enter any postponements to the YHA Website as soon as you are able and remember that entering a postponement to the website does not constitute notice to your opponents of that postponement, you still need to contact them and receive confirmation that they have received your message. Notice about any 'en bloc' rearrangments of postponed matches (moving all of Saturday's postponed league matches to a slip date) will be given once we know the extent of matches postponed, the target is 75% of matches in a league postponed - hence the need to have your postponements entered to the YHA Website as early as possible.
